Often, we find ourselves daydreaming of far-off destinations and exotic escapades, but the truth is, right under our noses, there are hidden treasures waiting to be explored.

Our adventure began around 9 a.m. with a 2 ½ hour drive across state to the city of Dearborn. As we approached the entrance of the Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village, we were greeted by an inviting facade that whispered tales of history and innovation. The architecture, adorned with intricate designs and welcoming colors, set the perfect tone for the day ahead.
After we purchased our tickets, we stepped into a world frozen in time, where every exhibit was a window into the annals of history. The first thing we wanted to experience was a ride in the Ford Model T.
Picture this: getting chauffeured as you sit in the very car that revolutionized transportation. It was a ride not just through the village but through the corridors of time, a delightful journey back to an era when automobiles were novelties and dreams of mobility took flight.
Another highlight for us was the Edison Workshop. A sanctuary of innovation that would make any inventor’s heart skip a beat. The air buzzed with creativity as we marveled at the brilliance of Edison’s inventions.
